Iphone 6 IOS Updates

I have an Iphone 6 that wont let me download the latest IOS 14 update. Most of the apps I have on my phone require 14 but my phone has IOS 12.5.3 and it says that is the latest version.

The iPhone 6 cannot be updated beyond iOS 12.x.x.x. It lacks the components necessary to run newer software.
