I have replaced the battery of my iphone. Now its not showing the battery health its still showing service. I want the battery health back.i have the notification about changed battery. Its irritating me very much now please remove this. Thank you so much
After the latest iOS update (14.6) the Settings icon shows that there is a notification, which is “Important battery message” : “unable to verify this phone has a genuine Apple battery “. I bought my Xs used, no idea what kind of battery it has. The notification will not go away and it is indeed obnoxious.
You are correct, it will not go away, you will just have to ignore it. Or make a Genius Bar appointment, tell them you purchased the phone used and didn't know what battery it had and see if they will let you put a new battery from them in it.
