I have an iPhone 8. Taking the phone from my pocket, I noticed that the mail icon was no longer displayed on the Home Page. I can view my mail only by swiping down and searching for mail. But I don't know how to put the Mail envelope icon back onto my Home page.

This did not solve the problem. Sure, I can get to the App Library, Search for Mail, tap on it and it opens. BUT, I don't know how to get that app back onto the home screen from the library. It mysteriously disappeared from the home screen and I can't reverse it.
It worked! Thank you. Previously, I only tapped on the icon and did not keep my finger on it.
