Text Message Failure

All of a sudden I cannot receive images or other attachments from non-iphone contacts. Why?

Receiving images and attachments as you described requires MMS messaging through your cellular carrier. MMS requires both the following:

  • Settings > Messages > MMS Messaging = “on”
  • Permission to use MMS on your plan from your cellular carrier. This may cost extra.
