showing emoji keyboard on menubar?

Hi there. I recently updated my MacBook Pro Mid-2015 Retina to Big Sur.

I used to have "Show Keyboard, Emoji & Symbol Viewers in menu bar" option in Keyboard, in Preferences. But now I don't, as you see in the image.

Anyone knows why?

I cannot open emoji keyboard.

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 11.4

But even when I enable that option, I cannot see the input menu. What should I do?

Hmmm....

You can try relaunch the menubar from the Terminal.app copy & paste:

killall -KILL SystemUIServer

does your menubar have room for one more item? If not try removing some of the items, use the Command key and drag off manually.

In reality it is just as easy using the keyboard short cut as advised above.

Control Command Spacebar 😉
