1 - copy the text from the source (web page, text document etc) using one of these options:


using the mouse, select the text to be used then

  • in the applications menu go to; edit > copy
  • right click the mouse and select copy
  • keyboard command using; command C



2 - paste the text into Keynote using one of these options:


click on the slide to be used then

  • in the applications menu go to; edit > paste
  • right click the mouse and select paste
  • keyboard command using; command V


3 - format the text on the slide for; font, size, colour, and position
