Apple TV movies not downloading or steaming

Lately, I’ve been unable to stream or download any of my Apple TV movie purchases onto my iPad 10.5 inch. When I attempt to download a movie, I receive a “Verification Required: Tap continue to sign in and view billing information” message. After entering in my password and hitting continue, nothing happens. If I try to stream the movie, I’ll get the same prompt, but followed by a “There’s a problem loading this content” error. I’m certain the iPad has adequate storage for downloads. Can anyone explain what’s going on, here? Thanks.
