Mac os Big sur install using a usb

I have a question. So when I use a usb to create a bootable installer for mac os big sur , does it save the stuff like accounts , downloads , etc... from my previous mac os version when it installs mac os big sur?

A USB Installer is exactly that an Installer of the OS.


There is nothing on the drive related to anything Personal in any way.


To preserve your Previous version of macOS and ALL Personal files including Account- Back up your Mac with Time Machine
