Changing my email password
I'm using apple mail, and I want to change my password. How do I do that without losing all my messages?

A simple password change won't delete your emails.
Use your browser to login to the website of your email provider and change your password.
Then return to the Mail app and through Preferences > Accounts change the password associated with the appropriate account. This may also be addressed via System Preferences > Internet Accounts.
