my MacBook pro is pre2013 and running mojave. How do I upgrade to something like catalina

The MacBook pro I have is pre 2013 and Big Sur is not supported. It is currently running Mojave and I want to upgrade it to something newer but not Big Sur. How do I do this?

      To confirm compatibility before downloading, check the minimum requirements for

       macOS CatalinaMojaveHigh SierraSierraEl Capitan, or Yosemite.

      You can also find compatibility information on the product-ID page for
