Hi,

Any luck with the HP Printer Drivers v5.1 for macOS (Post Date: Dec 11, 2020) from Apple?

An HP LaserJet P1505 driver version 1.6.1 is mentioned in Printer and scanner drivers for Mac - Apple Support.

HP released an Easy Start tool in Nov 2020 for this printer that it claims is compatible with macOS 11.2. I would download that and install it, and see if it can find the appropriate printer driver from HP.

If the first paragraph is successful, and it does find and install a driver, you will likely need to Reset your printer to re-add the new driver so the device can recognize that driver.

After paragraphs one and two, visit System Preferences > Printers & Scanners, and control-click on your printer's entry. Choose Reset printing system… from the secondary menu, and then re-add your printer with the specific driver support.

FYI A recent High Sierra update wrecked communication with my old HP F4580 inkjet printer.

Had to uninstall all HP printer software and reinstall the latest package of drivers (HPPrinterDrivers5.1.dmg).

Links to both the uninstaller and HPPrinterDrivers5.1.dmg package of drivers are on the HP forums here:
