Apple Pencil skipping since iOS 12

For the last few software versions, my Apple Pencil has been skipping lines. It used to be so bad that I had jagged lines even when just hovering the pencil over the screen. I have done all the generic tricks and it still, happens if I am charging the iPad or not. I managed to get the software fixed but the problem continued after a year or so of progress. Can you guys solve this for good. This is ridiculous.

Really........

Apple's fault.....

Search online to locate and call contact your nearest, “local” Apple Store location to try/attempt to make an appointment to get your Apple Pencil replaced with another new Pencil. In addition, bring your iPad into the store with you to have it diagnosed for any issues.

You may have multiple hardware issues happening.

OR, failing that,

Contact Apple support via the contact support link located at the upper right hand corner of every Webpage of these Apple support communities.

Use the Device Performance and Connectivity support categories.

OR

by installing and using the Apple Support app found in the iOS App Store.

Also, since NO ONE here knows what generic tricks you have tried, or not, make sure the tip of your Pencil is screwed on securely and “snugly” ( NOT TOO TIGHT! ).

Then follow all of the troubleshooting tips in this Apple Website Webpage support article.

Tap the link below.

Also, have you checked the tip of your Pencil lately?

Does it look worn?

Apple has a 4 pack of replacement tips for purchase.

Found here.

A little hard to advise and help you when you provide NO information about your iPad.

Here are my questions to you.

What year and model iPad do you have/own?

The “A” model number can be found on the aluminium back of your iPad, in small print, right under the larger bold print “iPad”.

Which version of Pencil?

What iOS/iPadOS version is this iPad, currently, running?

What is the rated, internal data storage space/capacity of your iPad model and how much of this free, internal data storage capacity is left inside of your iPad model?

All of that additional info can be found in the Settings app, General settings panel, About.

Please attempt to answer all questions asked.

Thank You.

Your demands will not get fullfilled here and I suspect not from Apple, either.

NO ONE here can do ANYTHING for you.

This is Apple product customer/user to user product technical support community.

We are all just Apple product users here, just like YOU!

If you already dealt with Apple, then there is nothing more any of us users here can do for you.

Sorry & Best of Luck to You!

I am sorry to learn all of this, but there is nothing anyone else here, including me, that can help you.

The ONLY other thing I can suggest and this will be tedious.

Have you ever backed up this iPad to a Mac with macOS Catalina, using the macOS Finder, or an older Mac or Windows PC using iTunes or using iCloud then fully do a clean reset of your iPad, then install all of your apps individually and test your Pencil with each compatible app individually to check the performance of your Pencil?

Then, once all of your apps are re-installed, restore the app data from the data backup you made.

This is the ONLY thing I have as a last resort to your Pencil issues.

Good Luck to You!
