Watch can’t Pair/Update

Recently my Apple Watch series 3 unpaired from my iPhone 12. I couldn’t pair them so I had to completely reset my watch. However when I try to pair them now, it is making me install the new Watch OS. Unfortunately the update keeps pausing at the same spot and will not resume. I have restarted my phone and the update several times and it stops at the same spot every time. No luck. I would appreciate any advice, because I cannot use my watch until this is fixed. Thanks!
