ipad pro to the desktop USB connector

i have an ipad pro but my desktop is for the old connector... how do i connect the ipad pro to my computer if it has a different USB on the back of my desktop?

iPad Pro 12.9-inch, 3rd Gen, Wi-Fi, Cell

You will need to purchase a USB-A to USB-C cable or an adaptor.
