Removing the connection

I’m trying to give my iPad to my daughter and I don’t want her receiving all my text and things that I get on my phone, but I’d like her to be able to access my apps and things

She should have her own Apple ID. If she uses yours then items will get mixed because 1 Apple ID = 1 person.

Reset the iPad as provided in the previous post and set it up with her Apple ID.

She can use your apps and some "things" by you setting up Family Sharing:

You can't have both solutions sorry.

Your apps are permanently tied to your Apple ID and password (used to download/install them.


But if you want to hide your text, docs and things, your daughter must use her own/new Apple ID and start from scratch.
