hiii i have an older iphone (6plus) and the charger for it doesnt work for it anymore, I also have the new iphone 12 so i was wondering if it would be okay to use the newer cabled charger for my older iphone?

Yes, you can. The charger doesn’t “push” power; it only supplies the power “drawn” by the device.
