I've noticed that the default mail application on MacOs Catalina doesn't have a yellow minimize button on the top left of the window.
All I need is the notifications from Mail, not the actual window. That's why I'd like to know how to minimize it to the Menu Bar that just shows the number of notifications and the mini pop up that comes when you get a new mail.

You're probably using Mail on a maximized screen, that's only time that center button wouldn't be yellow. And, minimizing is to the Dock, not the menu bar.
