The microphone on my AirPods Model no. A2031 have not been working for over a year. I have done all the things suggested, such as reset network settings, reset AirPod, etc.

The microphone cuts in and out to the point where the person does not hear hardly anything I say. This is on my iPhone 11 Pro and iPad Pro MU0M2X/A.

This is with all apps and while trying to make phone calls, MS Teams, FaceTime, etc.

I have cleaned the AirPods with an alcohol based cleaning product.

what do I do?
