in the settings there is a menu item "storage". In addition to the photo, there is a "media" item. What is media? it takes up a lot of memory on the device. in the icloud settings, the unloading of original photos and videos is enabled. However, the item "media" still takes up a lot of memory.

The photo is not included in the media, as it has its own icon and its own size. I don't have any downloaded tv shows/series, books... All what I have on my device is photos and videos, but, they are all uploaded on icloud. I don't understand, why media takes up so much space if all originals are uploaded to icloud.
I would make certain your photos/images and videos are actually being uploaded to iCloud and recheck those apps on your iPad to make sure these item are not still being stored on the device.
