Scanning sampler instruments

How do I turn off scanning sampler instruments when booting logic 10.6.3? It takes ages.....

I don't need sampler instruments for stem mix mastering. Please help. Logic software programmers you around?

  1. New or updated plugins have to be scanned and validated, this can take a while, if you just fresh installed hundreds of plugins
  2. If Logic does this on every boot, you can uncheck the plugins you dont need in the plugin-manager. Logic Pro > Preferences > Plugiin Manager
  3. Make sure all incompatible (!) plugins are removed from the component folders of your computer.

Where are third-party Audio Units plug-ins installed on Mac?
