Want to view old text messages from an old phone on iphone

Hello, a while ago I switched phones (the old one was android) and moved everything from my previous phone to my current iPhone. I would like to look back at previous text messages (dating back to when I was still using my android). I can search up keywords on iMessage from that time period and the messages appear on the search but when I try to click the message on search, I am unable to view it.

Is there any way for me to be able to see the messages? Thanks.

What to try:

In the iMessages App:

On you iPhone, view the iMessages app

Check your Mac:

See if these are in the Messages app on your Mac. If you have a Mac with these, then try boot it up (with the router powered off), and then exporting the messages from the iMessages app.

Restore form a Backup:

You can restore your Mac from the backup. I would also consider restoring your iPhone from a backup that contains these Messages. Once either is restored, then they would be back on there. Be certain you backup each device, prior to the restoration.
