Download High Sierra in a mac with big sur?

Hi, i have an old Mac that only support up to high Sierra.

I try to follow apple steps to get a copy but as all my Mac's have Big Sur, I can't download it from the App Store.

My older mac crash the HD and I replaced for an SSD and works fine the drive but I don't have de OS to install on it.

Please any clue where I can get a High Sierra installer?

Regards

If you are running a mac with macOS Catalina 10.15 or macOS Big Sur 11 then you will not

be allowed to download earlier versions of macOS's. This is a serious problem for lots of

mac users and a stupid oversight by Apple.

Can you source a mac that you know is capable of running macOS High Sierra.

If so you can download macOS High Sierra by following the link below.

Open Safari and click on this link,

Go to the Download OS section and click on macOS High Sierra.

You will then need to make a bootable USB flash drive installer.

The installer for macOS High Sierra downloads as Install macOS High Sierra.app it does not download as a .dmg file.

When in Big Sur and you can go to the App Store High Sierra download page it may say Get or Download.

Press the button and see if it will then begin to download High Sierra.

In my experience it will open System Preferences> Software Update and give you an error message saying that High Sierra

cannot be installed on this mac.

That is why I suggested you try this on a mac that is capable of running High Sierra but has not been upgraded to Catalina

or Big Sur.
