I cannot get access to internet even though my iPad settings show that I am connected to WiFi. The screen does not show the WiFi symbol. All this after several resets.

I have the same problem except with my iPhone 7 Plus. Four other Apple devices are able to get the internet when connected to our WiFi but my iPhone won't get internet when connected to WiFi. It won't even connect to the internet when using Data.
How to solve?

My iPad mini settings show that there is a connection with wifi, in fact there is no internet connection and there is no wifi symbol on the screen. All that after performing several resets.
