Side by side vs overlapping calendar entries

How can I get calendar entries on the same calendar to show up side by side? I don't want to make a separate calendar. The answer here:

https://discussions.apple.com/thread/250444442?answerId=250857554022#250857554022

says move it to a different date and time. At least I think that's what it says. It didn't make much sense. But it didn't work either. Why can't this be an option for each calendar entry?

As per your query - Why can't this be an option for each calendar entry?

Every calendar events are confined to an individual calendar , multiple calendars with different services like gmail , yahoo ....can be set on Mac calendar application .

And every event is different than other .

So the answer is no .
