Updating of the iMac operating system

I have an iMac 21.5" version 10.13.6, late 2012. What is the next possible version that i can upgrade to?

iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.13

FYI - have a Late iMac 2012 running Catalina and works ok .


May want to check for 32 bit Applications, extensions and drivers as they will not wok in Catalina. Mojave was the last macOS to support 32 bit. Good App for this is Go64


Do you have a Rescue Plan In-Place. This comprises having 3 Backups using 2 methods and 1 Off Site incase of Theft, Loss or Natural Disasters. A Time Machine Backup  is very useful and can be used to Revert to Previous Working macOS. For addition purposes - two Clones each to separate external drives. This is insurance incase things goes sideways. At least one Clone and / or Time Machine Backup should be Off - Site
