Deleting songs on iPhone?
Does deleting songs on an iPhone to save storage space also delete the songs from the iTunes library?

Depends on how you are removing them.
When deleting a song, it will ask if you wish to Remove the download or Delete it from library.
If you choose Remove the download, it only removes the download from the iPhone.
If you choose to delete from library, then it removes it from all devices using the same Apple and that have the Apple Music subscription service’s “Sync Library” option turned on in Settings->Music.
If you don’t use Apple Music or don’t have Sync Music turned on, it will just remove the song from the iPhone but will do nothing on other devices.
