iPhone camera all

Hi,

I have two questions.

1. Why does iPhone show the last photo or video that was taken when you open the Camera app - i.e. that small thumbnail picture in the lower left corner of the screen?

2. Once you tap this thumbnail it seems that you are taken to the Photos app - but you’re not, you are still in the Camera app. The only way of knowing which app you’re still in is what is shown in the upper right corner. On the Camera app it shows “All Photos”. On the Photos app it shows “Edit”. Other than that the screens look exactly the same. In both apps there is an arrow in the upper left corner. When you tap the arrow whilst in the Camera app you are taken back to the camera. In the Photos app it stays in the app.

This is quite frustrating because the only way of knowing whether you are still in the Camera app is to look at what is shown in the upper right corner of the screen, namely “All Photos”.

What is also frustrating in particular is when you have both apps open.

Hope someone can help.
