Install Big Sur keeps failing

I've dowloaded Big Sur with no issue. Installing fails as it keeps getting in a loop where it keeps restarting.

I've the same issue with installing Monterrey.

Actions taken, cleaned disks, reinstalled High Sierra, as that is the version I can fall back on.

So there is enough disk space, drive has been cleaned. Any other suggestions why during installation it keeps rebooting without installing it further?

Have you thought of Downloading the Big Sur again and stop there. Create a Bootable Installer of Big Sur. Then, reboot using the Option key and choose the newly created Bootable Installer and run the upGrade from there.
