I cannot reset my homepod

My HomePod is having wifi issues. It will not connect and I cannot reset it. When trying to reset from phone it says to hold next to HomePod..nothing. I removed the accessory from the home app and cannot add it again because the phone cannot recognize the HomePod when I hold it near. I have unplugged and replugged it in. I cannot reset it. The home just keeps saying it is having wifi issues.

If you removed it , it has been Reset. You are now looking to set it up again.

Try rebooting your wifi modem and make sure your iPhone is up to date on iOS 14.7 first and you have Bluetooth, wifi and keychain turned on (on your phone) and you are using two factor authentication with your Apple ID

Then try it again

See: if you can't set up HomePod.
