I have a iPhone 6 Plus. It says that the software iOS 12.5.4 is uptodate, although iOS14 is available and compatible. Is something basically wrong?

My iPhone 6 s plus has a software iOS12.5.4, which it says is uptodate. It does not show the latest iOS13 or 14 for updating. What is the resan?

iPhone 5c, iOS 10

iPhone 6 and 6 Plus do not have enough power to run anything above iOS12

You need 6S or 6S Plus as a bare minimum.
