It’s not possible to uninstall the update.


“printer no longer works” ....


A Safe Mode boot deletes system caches that can help with problems after a MacOS upgrade.


Follow the instructions to boot in Safe Mode > Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac - Apple Support



Then restart your Mac and try your printer.
