I have a message on my iPhone that says y Apple ID and phone. Are now being used for iMessage on a new iPad. I DO NOT have a new iPad.???

Can you go to settings, iCloud and then scroll down till you see devices and tell me if you can see the iPad. You can use this link for more information to see the devices: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT205064
