The article on Family Sharing states that my family members cannot view my files stored as part of our shared storage. Is there a way we can view / share each others' files within iCloud?

Thank you, I did see that article. What I'm trying to do is share a folder, make changes to the documents, and have those changes appear on both Macbooks, i.e. sync the folders. What I'm seeing so far doesn't sync.
