My MacBook Pro screen is showing vertical and horizontal lines

Hi,

I am using early 2011 MacBook Pro, High Sierra, 2 x 4GB RAM. Today I was working and suddenly my screen started showing vertical lines and got restarted my itself. I immediately ran First Aid and the result of it was fine with green tick. Again it happened as soon as the First Aid finished. It is working fine in Recovery Mode. I have reset the NVRAM but still the problem persists. It is showing horizontal lines and sometimes vertical lines. Please help. Thank you in advance.

Is is happening for the first time. The first time this happened the computer restarted by itself and asked if I want to send the crash report to Apple, which I did. Then second and third time the computer froze and I had to turn it off by pressing the power button.

Is this a New problem and if Yes, what changes have recently occurred ? Is this an Old problem and If Yes, what steps have been taken to resolve the problem ?
