I no longer can get face time video calls on my iphone, only on ipad.

Okay, You still did not mention what happens when you try? Have you checked Settings>FaceTime on the iPhone and check to see that it is activated and is your phone number listed under You Can Be Reached By FaceTime At? Is your phone number checked as Caller ID? Is iMessage activated on your device?
Yes I did and I’m techie.
I solved it myself by uninstalling FaceTime, did a hard reset, then reinstalled from App Store FT app. Fixed the problem.
