Hi bilco123,

System Preferences is your Mac's "Settings" application. You can reach System Preferences several ways:

  • Click the Apple logo in the top left corner of the screen, and select System Preferences.
  • Click the System Preferences icon in the Dock, if it is there (it looks like a settings gear).
  • Press Command-Space or click on the magnifying glass in the top right corner to open Spotlight search. Then, search for System Preferences.
  • In Launchpad, open System Preferences.

If you're looking for the settings (preferences) of a different application, please let me know.

Hope this helps!
