A. Clean Safari:

When is the last time you cleared the history and cache?. Clear your Temporary Internet Files(Cookies & Cache) of Safari: Cookies perform remembrance of certain site-entered data, whereas Cache keeps a snapshot of the last time you visited a site.

• Clearing The History:

1. Go To: History Menu
2. Select: “Clear History...”
3. Select: “all history” 
4. Click: Clear History

• Clearing The Cache:

1. Unhide: The Develop Menu
2. Go To: Develop menu
3. Select: Empty Caches

B. What Else to Delete:

• Delete: Extremely Large Files (i.e. Virtual Machines)
• Empty: the Trash

First that comes to mind would be music and videos/movies. Then photos. Also delete unnecessary programs/apps.
