Hi, I recently deleted my apple ID because I don’t use it anymore. I want to make another ID using the same email. But when I try to make one it says the email is still in use even tho I deleted that ID. I looked it up and it says that it may take up to 7 days for all data to get deleted off of that ID. It’s been a bit over 7 days already and still says the email is in use.

Apple does not have a statement about email address re-use in its documentation that I can find but here is an April 2021 post by ASC contributor IdrisSeabright that was recommended by the official Apple team -
"Once you've used an email address as an Apple ID, it can't be used again for an Apple ID, even if the first Apple ID has been deleted."
