HP SCANJET PRO 2500 F1

Hi, I'm disappointed because after reading explanation from E-sites and looking trough the web,

I bought HP SCANJET PRO 2500 F1. it was supposed to work with MAC....I bought it just for that. I 've done an update to big sur but it doesn't work the MAC doesn't recognize it. You have to do something because you lay and I spent money for nothing.

Apple is not here so there is no use in you demanding something being done.

We are all users the same as you.

Have you been to the HP Support website for this scanner.

https://support.hp.com/gb-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-scanjet-pro-2500-f1-flatbed-scanner/7440206


Make sure the operating selector is set to macOS 11.0

and you will see the downloads available for you, click the + buttons

to reveal them.

Download and install the drivers/ software.

Restart your mac and see if you can scan.


If you still cannot scan open the Library/Image Capture/Devices folder and look for

HPScanner.app.


Control-click on the HPScanner.app then press Open, now see if you can scan.
