You need a TV that has the ability to download the app. Please click https://support.apple.com/guide/tvplus/watch-on-a-smart-tv-apd903e39682/1.0/web/1.0 and select the brand of TV you own for a list of compatible TVs. If you have an older TV then you will need a device such as the Apple TV 4K.
