I keep getting a black background on screenshots instead of a white background/drop shadow

I have no idea how this has happened. It used to be white background with a drop shadow around the selected window, but now everytime i do this kind of screenshot it adds a black bacground to it.. I have tried looking it up, but i cant seem to find anyone with a similar issue.

Any tips?

I accidentally managed to change it back:

  • pressing cmd + shift + 5
  • click options
  • unselecting "remember last selection".

I have no idea why it dorked.
