Safari not fully loading some pages

Using 2020 non-M1 MBP, 16 MB Ram, Big Sur 11.5.2, Safari 14.1.2


Safari frequently will not load entire page of some sites link the BBC.

Even after one to 2 reloads.

Chrome works fine and NEVER has issues.


No extensions installed on Safari.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.5

Thanks for the quick reply.


I tried most of those before posting my message.


  • no extensions or 3rd party stuff installed in Safari.
  • I shouldn't have to make changes to OS/DNS to use Safari when Chrome works
  • shouldn't be a site issue, mainly noticed on https://www.bbc.com/news which isn't an amateur site. Yes, it does happen on other sites too.
