Yes if you perform this procedure ➔  If you Forgot the Passcode on your iPad, or your iPad is Disabled then you can start over again. You can even restore your iPad from a backup in iCloud or a computer (if you have a backup file).

No, you are not going to be able to reset the passcode of your iPad from your iPhone.

Do you Mean the Passcode?:

Hold It Right There!:

Enter the passcode incorrectly too many times, and you'd likely be locked out for good. So, hold it right there, and refer to this link: If you Forgot the Passcode on your iPhone, or your iPhone is Disabled - Apple Support. It would be the one you've always entered. If you do not know it, then look for it in a location you may have stored it in.

Contact Apple Support:

If you still cannot get it unlocked using that link, then see what Apple can do for you. The locking of an iPad is a theft deterrent. So, see if Apple can assist you. Show them your original receipt of purchase. If you do not have it, then there may be nothing you can do about this.

Apple’s Contact Information:

Note: Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. And that makes sense, because with the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through

No. Apple cannot send you any passcodes or messages on demand. Those two-factor authentication messages that you have been receiving are system driven and are generated with codes that are valid for only a few seconds.

I recommend that you go through the ➔  If you Forgot the Passcode on your iPad, or your iPad is Disabled procedure again.

I was just in beginning process and hadn’t backed up. It shut down to restart and then asked for passcode. I wrongly thought password and after trying to get password acceptance and failed I changed password. Then asked for passcode again. I couldn’t find msg and when I finally found it the message passcode has expired. Can Apple msg me with a new passcode
