My series 3 watch won’t turn on at all. I’ve tried to reboot it and keeping it on charge for long periods of time and nothing works. Ideas?

I have an series 3 watch that won’t turn on at all, I’d like to give it to my husband as I have gotten a new one, but I don’t know if there is a way to fix this issue.
