Photos in shared album

On my MAC, I have added photos from my photo library with info (title, description, faces, etc) but the info does not display in the shared album. How do I fix?

Hi - You can't with Apple shared albums.

Shared albums are very limited, stripping out pretty much all of the metadata except for image capture date. Options are to put the image files into an iCloud drive folder to share them that way, or to use a third party online sharing service.

Photos in Shared albums will keep more information after the upgrade to macOS 12 Monterey. Then we will at least see the captions and the camera specific data.

Currently, the only way to add some information to a photo in a shared album is to add a comment, when you share the photo - see this discussion: Is there a way to make captions visible when you save photos w captions to a Shared Album?
