How can I find a message that was deleted

This is not a chat service, and is not a way to communicate directly with Apple; it is a user-to-user technical support forum. If you have a question or issue that you think another user can help you with please describe it in as much detail as you can and a user who sees your request and thinks they can help will answer, but that might not be immediate; it could be hours later.

Deleted messages are gone forever, unless you DON’T sync messages to iCloud (Go to Settings/[your name]/cloud and check that the switch for messages is off) and you have a backup that was made before the message was deleted. In that one situation you care restore the backup to get the message back, but that will overwrite everything on the phone, not just the missing message.
