Here are two ways to unpair your watch if you no longer have the paired iPhone:

  • See the 'How to erase your Apple Watch if you don't have your iPhone' section of:

Unpair and erase your Apple Watch - Apple Support

  • With a web browser, go to: https://www.iCloud.com and sign in with your Apple ID. Open Find My iPhone and select All Devices (at the top). Then click your Apple Watch, select 'Erase Apple Watch', and select Next until the device is erased. Finally click "X" next to remove your Apple Watch.

I did that (deleted the other iPhone from Find my Phone). It gave me hope and let me "pair" but after waiting for the sync and to be supposedly paired, it immediately unpairs and takes me back to zero. Done the whole process that 4 times now and still unpairs. Frustrating.

You need to unpair it from whatever phone it's paired too,a watch can only be paired to one phone at a time.

What model of phone is it and what version of ios is it running?

What model of watch is it and what version of WatchOS is it running?.
