I can’t hear anything unless I’m on speaker during a call

We understand that you cannot hear anything while on a phone call unless you use the device speaker. We'd like to help.

We see that you've already checked out If you hear no sound or distorted sound from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch speaker. Have you tried all of the suggestions in that resource?

Is there anything obstructing the receiver? Do you have a case on your device? If so, remove it if you can and test to see if the issue persists.

Are you able to playback and listen to a voicemail using the receiver?

Try to restart your device. Also, make sure the iOS is updated to the latest version. Back up your device and Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
