- "You can always return the item to any U.S. Apple Store. An Apple Specialist will assist you with your return. Your refund will be processed at that time"
Unless you can return the device for a full refund then in general it will cost you whatever the difference is between your trade-in value with Apple or what you get from selling your old phone, and what a new one costs where you live.
