Music playlist is empty

I recently renewed my apple music subscription after a year of not having it. Once I got into my playlist I only found empty folders that I had previously made and a couple songs that I bought in 2015. Tried turning on and off "Sync library" but there was still no change. I used to have a lot of saved songs but now they are missing, is there any way to get back all the songs I have previously saved.

Can someone help please.

I don't think Apple archives your Apple Music library if you cancel your subscription and then later re-subscribe. Unless you previously exported your playlists, I am afraid you will likely have to recreate them.
